1. What are the other costs besides tuition?
Students are responsible for paying the following expenses:
- Transportation to and from Prague
- Travel interruption and Health Insurance
- Meals not included in the program
- Personal spending money for gifts and entertainment
- Any tips and gratuities
- Visa or other related travel documents
- Course materials
2. What is the cost of the meals that are not included in the program?
During the team building retreat and community service project, all meals are included. Students are responsible for the remaining meals. Students have several options including cooking in the dorms or visiting the numerous eateries in Prague.
3. Can I transfer the course credits to my home university?
Absolutely. Simply obtain approval from your university prior to the program. The transcripts will be issued by Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, the oldest university in Eastern Europe. Each course meets for 36 lecture hours and is worth 3 Canada/US credits or 6 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) which are transferable worldwide. All courses are classified as upper-division. Students are allowed to take 2 courses during the program for a total of (6 US/ 12 ECTS credits). Students who wish to take a 3rd course should sign-up for the 2-week Berlin course held immediately after the Prague program ends.
4. How can payments be made?
Payments can be made in US dollars to the Global Institute for Leadership and Civic Development and mailed to:

We are also able to take VISA and Mastercard payments. Please be aware that a 2% processing fee will be added to each payment made through a credit card.
5. What are the possible pay arrangements?
The accepted participants will receive further details on the payment options available. After making the non-refundable deposit, students can choose to pay the remaining part of their tuition in two installments
6. What should I take?
Once students are accepted they will receive in their acceptance package a list of things they should take. Students are strongly encouraged to bring laptop computers.
