rewarding,
but allow you to put theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom to
practical use.
Fieldtrips

the Czech
countryside for a team building retreat. Later in the program, raise
your
awareness of human tragedy by visiting Terezin, former concentration
camp
during WWII.
Speakers
Get
first-hand advice
from leaders in business, politics, education, and the public sector.
Workshops
Learn
practical skills,
such as public speaking techniques, how to write business plans, and,
most
importantly, how to create and implement a project in your home
community.
Housing
Students
live in dorms
located 15 minutes from school and the city center. Rooms are suites
containing
two double occupancy rooms, sharing a bathroom. Many of the rooms have
small
refrigerators. The dorm has a t.v. lounge and kitchen.
Meals
During
the team building
and community service retreat, all meals are included. Students have
several
options for the remaining meals, choosing to cook with friends at the
dorm or
eat out.
Transportation
Prague
has an excellent,
inexpensive, and reliable public transportation system, including
metros,
trams, and buses. Students take a 15 minute ride to Charles University.
Students can obtain a discounted one-month travel pass for

in post-war, West-, East-, and reunified Germany to global and
international developments over the same time. Students live
apartment-style in Berlin's
