After attending the 2002 GLP program, Vladimir started his own 4-week Global Education Program. Its primary goal is to gather young people from all over the world and prepare them to become leaders in different fields. As Vladimir explains, "We were inspired by fact that in order to become successful on global level one must understand, respect and use differences between cultures. The process of globalization requires active participation in changes that it brings. Although we are all affected by process of globalization, we must understand that its impacts are different in developed, developing and under developed countries. Young people have to know and to be prepared for the changes that are about to come and the consequences of those changes on their environment. Also one has to be aware that in order to run successful business it is crucial to have knowledge about different cultures - different markets require different approaches."

One City, Many Faces
A Youth Perspective of Community
By Phillip Hughes
One City, Many Faces is a collection of artwork, writing, photography, and video from youth around the world. The project seeks to have youth express the uniqueness of their home town in an artistic manner in the hope that they will discover and understand their own community and the dangers it faces both internally and externally. This will also help facilitate the youths' learning of the differences and similarities in youth culture throughout the world and how all communities interconnect. The book, tentatively titled One City, Many Faces: A Youth Perspective on Community; will present a wide range of artistic expressions as well as give youth an understanding of each other and their respective communities. Additionally, the book will give adults a chance to see how youth view their city, community, and culture.
